Only 27 More Weeks!

Hello Everyone! Let me take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Baby Sweatman. All mommy has been talking about for the past few weeks is how my cousin Grace was able to communicate with everyone before she was even born. Mom kept on hinting to me that she'd like me to do the same thing. After getting my picture taken today at the doctor's office, I decided it was time to follow in the footsteps of cousin Grace. According to the doctors, I am due to be born around July 11th. I already know if I am a boy or girl, but mommy and daddy don't yet so I'll keep it a surprise until they find out from the doctor at the beginning of February. I do hear mommy talking about a lot of different names that she and daddy like and the only name I hope they don't choose for me is Wilbur (hint, hint)! Mommy also told me that daddy is away serving the country but he'll be back before I am born. She has not told me exactly what he is serving the country but it sounds like a lot of responsibility. I've heard the words Navy, Army and Afghanistan mentioned quite a bit...they must be helping him out. I am so proud that he is my daddy and I can't wait to meet him. This past weekend was exhausting. Mommy and I went to New Jersey to spend Christmas Eve with Nonna, Papa, Great Grandma Zoffuto, Uncle Tom, Aunt Margaret, Grace, Uncle Dan and Aunt Erin. Mommy finally told all of them about me. I've been patiently waiting for the past 12 weeks for her to tell everyone about me and I was getting ready to tell them myself if she didn't. We also went out to breakfast with mommy's friend Deb from college. They were talking so fast and laughing so much I could hardly keep up. Then we spent Christmas with Grammi and Grampy, Uncle Mike, Aunt Carolyn, Uncle Matt and Aunt Shannon and all of my mommy's aunts, uncles, and cousins. At dinner, Uncle Mike gave a toast to me. That's how they all found out that I am on my way. I hope everyone has a very happy New Year! Love, Baby Sweatman
