Buzz and Strength Training
I've really enjoyed the Little Gym and one of the things I've been working on is my ability to jump off of the blocks onto the mat. Yesterday, we decided to work on it at home too so I set up a little jump pad for me to practice. All was going well.
And then I got a little impatient and pushed Adelaide off. She fell and was not happy. Of course I got a time out, I deserved one and then I apologized to Adelaide for pushing her. She was a little bit afraid to jump after that but my sister is pretty tough so I think she'll be okay! That's all from here!

Perpetual Motion
Given the fact that I love Thomas imagine my glee when I found a train that I could drive! So much fun. I had mommy and Adelaide give me their tickets before they could get on board. There was also a basketball court, swings, lots of slides. So many different things to keep me busy!
I had fun making different buildings out of the blocks and Adelaide liked knocking them down. I was not happy when she knocked them down but it just gave me an excuse to pick them back up again!
Okay, so I love slides and I love the big colorful balls so what could be better than a slide that ends up in the pit full of balls! I loved it!!! After we finished up at the playground we headed home for a little while before our next adventure.
Mom decided that Adelaide should get her hair cut. The big day had come!!! Her hair WAS getting a little out of control in the back. I was incredibly excited that it wasn't my turn so I sat in the chair and watched Adelaide get her hair cut. The best part: I didn't have to do anything and I STILL get a lollipop! Adelaide has my back.
Sunday was Mother's Day. Daddy, Adelaide and I made enchiladas for dinner and then we just played together. Mommy was really happy. She told us over and over again how much she loves us and how proud she is of us.
This past weekend we went to Maine. Papa and Mimi left a note inviting us over for breakfast at "Papa's Cookerie" and how could we pass up the "Free" Coffee? Dzia Dzia kept on thinking I was going to take his breakfast again but we both ordered the same thing so it didn't matter!
With the rainy weather, we decided to play some music and dance to Neil. I thought it would be really funny to wear Adelaide's sweater and turn up the volume very loud. I think I thought it was a lot funnier than everyone else there but I eventually got them laughing!

Changing Diapers, Eating Munchkins and Seeing the Cousins!
Mommy- "Do you think you'll use the potty soon, Oliver?"
Me: "I don't use the potty, remember? I like getting my diaper changed."
Me: "But, I think that Adelaide will need to get potty trained soon. She loves the potty."
Mommy- ???????? I don't think she knew what to say to that!
Needless to say, I have fun changing Adelaide's diaper. I still don't want to use potty but little does mommy know, I am secretly planning a day that I will just stop using the diapers and be ready to be a big boy!

I've had a fun week. I went to Lynch Park with mommy, Adelaide, Auntie Carolyn and Gabriella. Then yesterday, we went to Nick's house. On the way we stopped to get munchkins to share with them but imagine our excitement when we realized that Nick's mom had also picked up some munchkins! It was a whole bowl of deliciousness! Today Lorelai and Aunt Shannon came over and we played and then we all went to the Willows for ice cream.
We are learning how to play Candyland. I have my own rules. It's hard to teach Adelaide by my rules but I think she gets the idea! I also got my acceptance letter to Harborlight Nursery School the other day! It's official....I'm headed to preschool in the fall. Hip Hip Hooray!

Weekend Adventure
This past weekend mommy and daddy headed to Brooklyn to see mommy's friends so Adelaide and I got a very special treat! We went with Grammi and Dzia Dzia up to Maine! I could hardly sleep on Friday night I was so excited. When we woke up on Saturday morning, mommy and daddy dropped us off at Grammi and Dzia Dzia's house! We drove to Maine in Dzia Dzia's truck and when we got there, Uncle Mike, Aunt Carolyn and Gabriella were waiting for us! Uncle Mike tried to drink some of my milk but I told him no way! In the afternoon, Dzia Dzia, Uncle Mike and I went for a drive downtown to see the chicks and have "guy time". When we got back we had a delicious dinner of hotdogs. Dzia Dzia also got some black olives. Now, I am an olive guy. I love olives....but these must have been some very special olives because they tasted terrible!!! I went to bed in my cot and then the next morning we all went over to Mimi and Papa's house for breakfast. I really wanted to bring my suitcase over to breakfast but then when the time came to actually head over there, I forgot it. Oh well....such is the life of a 2 year old. Too much action. At breakfast, I played a funny trick on Dzia Dzia. Papa made him a big breakfast of eggs, pancakes, bacon and toast and while Dzia Dzia went off to play with Adelaide and Gabriella I ate it! I ate Dzia Dzia's breakfast. Who knew he had a Swiper in the room:)!!! Overall, it was a really great weekend. I even went on the swing after Adelaide showed me how to do it. When we got back from Maine, mommy was there to pick us up and take us back to our house! Can't wait for my next adventure in Maine.
