This Past Week!

Mommy is having a busy week with school so this will be brief. The other day mommy rolled us up like burritos after our bath and we thought it would be fun to rest on my bed.

We went to Auntie Shannon's birthday. Lorelai and I were VERY silly!

We also went to Maine where we did some shoveling, sledding and playing.

Yesterday, I went with a classmate to Chuck E. Cheese's. Lauren and I had lots of fun playing together! Today we went to mommy's friend Emily's house and had make-your-own pizzas!

Valentine's Day!

When we woke up yesterday morning, we were surprised to find a few treats waiting for us downstairs. I was especially excited about my new book called The Grapes of Math.

We got the treats that we had made for daddy's work and headed to his office.

When we got there, we were really excited to hand out the candy.

We got to see daddy's office and give him our Valentine's cards.

Before we went home, mommy took us for a special treat. She took us out for an ice cream sundae. I am doing my happy dance in this picture.

I chose to have vanilla ice cream, hot fudge sauce, marshmallow sauce, sprinkles and strawberries.

Adelaide kept us entertained while we were eating ice cream.

Later on that day, we went over to visit our cousin Gabriella.

This morning, my school had their Valentine's Day party. Mommy surprised me this morning and told me that she was spending the morning with me at my school while Adelaide went to the babysitter's house. I could not believe it and was very excited to spend time with her. Here I am putting the Valentine's that I made into my classmates bags.

At school, I did some sequencing with mom.

It was also my day to feed the fish.

Then the party started and there were party games. Mommy and I found our matching heart pieces and put them together.
I also played pin-the-heart on an animal. We had a special snack of fruit, cookies and milk. Mommy sat next to me at snack time. I was happy to have her there.

Valentine's Day Fun- Part 1

We have been having fun getting ready for Valentine's Day. We've been working on some projects, made cupcakes and cookies and just enjoying the holiday. The other day we received a surprise package from Nonna and Papa and I was so excited when I saw the light up frog, chocolates and the paint sets. I've been doing lots of painting lately and really could not wait to work on the sets that Nonna sent us.
While Adelaide took her nap, I did some painting!

The other night we had Grammi and Dzia Dzia over for dinner.

Adelaide and I were pretty excited to all be together so we had lots of hugs and kisses for everyone.

When Grammi and Dzia Dzia first arrived, we heard a knock on the door and saw a surprise waiting for us!

Dzia Dzia reading me my card.

All sitting down to dinner. Not sure what face Dzia Dzia is making. Guess he felt a little silly!

I was happy to give Grammi and Dzia a Valentine's Day card.
Trust me, I'm excited about this cake but this was also the point when I started to get REALLY tired!
Catch us if you can before we go to bed. I might not have my "running pants" on, but I can still move pretty fast.

50th Birthday Party!

Last week, we went to my nursery school's 50th birthday party! There were lots of fun things to do. Adelaide and I got our faces painted, we made hats and played games.

We also played pin the hat on the birthday bear. I came close!
We were happy to share our stories with daddy when we got home from the party.

Mommy and daddy had some friends over for a dinner the other night and mommy put me to work peeling carrots. After she told me that I probably wouldn't be able to peel until I was at least 4, maybe 5 years old, I decided to prove her wrong.

Getting ready to go to Grammi and Dzia Dzia's house for the night.

Can you tell from my excitement that I spotted my name written in the snow?

To end our fun weekend, we saw my new cousin, Cali.

Lorelai and I played a few games while the adults oohed and ahhhed over the new baby!

Earlier this week, we discovered this floor game thing.

And then we headed over to Mall Tots for a little baseball...

...and basketball. I am definitely starting to favor my left hand when I play sports.
