December Festivities!

I am so excited for Santa Claus to arrive this week.  I've heard so much about him.  I hope I get to meet Santa although mommy and daddy told me that he will probably get to our house after I am asleep.  December has been a month of celebrating Christmas.  It all started with the Polar Express ride at the end of November and I've been having fun ever since.

Here are some pictures of daddy and me opening the Christmas calendar.  Every day until Christmas we look inside and there is a surprise from an elf.  Usually the elf leaves a surprise for daddy as well.

A few weeks ago mommy and daddy took Adelaide and me to a handbell concert in Wellesley.  Someone handed out bells to all the little kids and I got to ring a bell during some of the songs.  My favorite song was Jingle Bells.

After the concert, I got to go to the front of the church and look at the handbells the performers used during the concert.  Mommy helped me ring one of the bells.

On Friday, mommy, Adelaide and I went over to Grammi and Dziadzia's house to make Christmas cookies.  As you can see, I was hard at work helping Grammi make the Christmas tree cookies.  Who knew a pen cap could be so useful!

Mommy told me that this week is going to be filled with lots of fun.  Mommy has some of her friends coming over to visit and then we are going to see Nonna, Papa, Grammi, Dziadzia and my aunts, uncles and cousins.  I can't wait for the excitement to begin.  I'm a busy boy...I need to always be entertained!
