We Will Return Soon!

I just wanted to say hello to everyone and let you know that I will be updating our blog soon. Mommy and daddy's hard drive experienced total failure (sounds serious) so they had to ship the computer off to the Apple store to be fixed. We'll hopefully be getting it back soon. I have had a great month or so since I last wrote...so many pictures to share, including my first birthday, our family vacation to Maine and the Cape and all sorts of other random moments.

I had my one year check up on July 10th. The doc says I am doing well. I have been walking now since the middle of June and I keep mommy and daddy on the go. I am almost running everywhere. It drives our dog Charley crazy because I can chase him much faster now. I say daddy, mommy, doggy, wawa (water) and the word round and I will occasionally repeat whatever you say. My favorite thing to do is give people a kiss. I lean in, pucker my lips, say "mmmm" and plant a wet one. I like to tease mommy by not always giving her kisses. Sometimes when she asks for a kiss, I will look at her, and then give a kiss to whoever else or whatever else is in the room. She doesn't think it's so funny but she needs to learn my sense of humor. The other day I was sitting on the couch between mommy and daddy and, completely unrequested, I leaned over to daddy and gave him a kiss and then I leaned over to mommy and gave her a kiss. I even gave our dog Charley a kiss. It made them all really happy. I have this new squinty eyed smile that I do. You'll see it when I post pictures again.
