Today mommy, Adelaide and I headed to the Beverly Farms library to play. We made an alphabet train, did puzzles, played with the alphabet tree and looked at some different games. This afternoon we played with our piggy banks and pretended to be a store. We had a fun day!!!

Searching for a Chick and the Science Museum
Now that I am getting closer to being 3 years old, I decided it was time to find myself a chick. Preferably a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse watching, chocolate milk drinking girl who also likes to play with stickers. In my quest to find this chick, I realized just how difficult it would be.
First, Dzia Dzia told me he knew where we could find some chicks so I eagerly accompanied him to the local hardware store in Maine where a surprise awaited me.
Real chicks! Not the kind I was expecting, but still pretty neat!
When I got back to Grammi and Dzia Dzia's house in Maine I kept a lookout for any potential candidates that might come along. I waited, and waited, and waited!
I got so tired that I decided to read in my new cot in Maine until the right woman came along!
I even had mommy take some pictures of me wearing the new pajamas that Nonna sent. I thought that might send the chicks my way.
I even showed off my athletic abilities by hanging from a tree when I went to the park with my mommy, sister, Auntie Shannon and Lorelai.
I thought that maybe the fact that I like to pretend I'm superman would win the chicks over but still no luck!
I even wore my party hat in the car while I waited!
Finally, today I gave up my search and mommy, Adelaide and I went to the children's museum in Boston. I had so much fun showing Adelaide the ropes. What a fun day!!!

I'm wearing Adelaide's hat. Next, I go to sleep. I go to sleep with my hat. I go to sleep with my spoon. Push that button. Adelaide goes to bed with her spoon. And I go to bed with this piece of paper. Mommy watches Sopranos. I watch Sopranos with you. (he doesn't and he's retelling the story about what I did the day before he was born). Goodbye. I want to tell a story about when Adelaide goes to sleep. The End!

Easter and My Cape Cod Adventure
I'll start with Easter since that is the most recent event in my life! Yesterday was Easter and I had lots of fun. Before I went to bed on Saturday, mommy and daddy told me that the Easter bunny was going to come during the night and leave me some treats! When I woke up in the morning there were two chocolate Easter bunnies in my room waiting for Adelaide and me. When we went downstairs an egg hunt awaited us!!! The funniest place the bunny put an egg was in our potties. Clearly, the Easter bunny knows we NEVER actually use our potties.

In the afternoon we went to Grammi and Dzia Dzia's house for dinner. There were so many Aunts, Uncles and cousins there. I always get so excited to see my cousin Lorelai. We have lots of fun playing together.
Mommy and daddy really wanted to get a family photo of us but I was too excited by the Easter egg hunt and the bubbles.
This year I was very serious about hunting for eggs. I was on a mission to find them!!!
Grammi made jello Easter bunnies and baskets. Yum!!!
One of our family traditions is cracking the eggs and the egg that doesn't crack is the winner. I was almost the winner.
Our family gets the task of making the Easter eggs. I think it was a lot more fun for me than it was for mommy. We had to put a lot of trash bags down to keep our house neat.
The day before Easter mommy, daddy, Adelaide and I went to the Middlesex Fells to go for a hike. Adelaide and I had fun racing each other. Mommy and daddy think I'm going to be the runner in the family!
Daddy helped me climb up this really cool rock! I had a hard time getting down though.
Two things that Adelaide and I love are our nature boxes and our sunglasses.
Last week, we went to Cape Cod for a few days. During one of the days we went to the Mashpee Woodlands for a hike.
Mommy and daddy brought bubbles for me!
Nonna promised me we could make ice cream when I came to Cape Cod and she didn't let me down!!! I love making ice cream with Nonna.
One of our other favorite things to do is eat dates on the stairs.
Silly smile after strawberry shortcake.
Mommy and I spent some Oliver-mommy time together while Adelaide napped at Nonna and Papa's house. We went to the park and then to Starbucks for chocolate milk.
We also went to the Cape Cod Children's Museum where we had fun exploring!
