I Do Love My Sister!!!

Mommy caught us tonight! She caught us loving each other. It's very rare that she has the camera handy to catch these little spontaneous moments. Adelaide came over to me and said "I love you" and gave me a big kiss. Then, I reciprocated with a hug. And then, while I was trying to turn all the lights out (don't ask me why), she gave me a back hug.

Adelaide and I definitely have our moments, but we really do love each other and have had fun lately playing together.

So, after mommy and Adelaide pick me up from preschool, our conversation in the back seat typically goes something like this:
Adelaide- "What did you do in preschool today Oliver?"
Me- "I made applesauce."
Adelaide- "Was it fun?"
Me- "Yes. What did you do at the Little Gym?"
Adelaide- "I played with the balls."
Me- "What else?"
Adelaide- "I went on the balance beam and bars."
Me- "That's fun Adelaide!"

In other news, I'm getting really excited for Halloween. We have a Halloween calendar that we use to change the date everyday. I tried to trick mommy into believing Halloween was today by putting the little candy corn in the number 31. It didn't work.

Pre-school has been really fun. Today we made applesauce. The teacher told mommy that I really like to cook. We ate the applesauce at school. I love snack time.

I've also been using lots of Halloween stickers and markers at home to create some of my own masterpieces.

Scary Cupcakes?

I like cupcakes, but I don't LOVE them the way my sister does. However, I was still pretty excited to decorate the cupcakes. In fact, I was really excited to make my own designs.

Making a scary cupcake takes lots of time!

Here is my frankenstein, eyeball scary cupcake!

And then I actually managed to scare mommy when I started to roar and come after her with my eyeball cupcake.

Trying to replicate the peeping monster cupcake that mommy made.

Here it is...my version of it!

I really wanted to eat frankenstein's head.

Here's another picture of a peeping monster. This was my favorite. I am not a big dessert person but I enjoyed eating all the candies off of all the peeping monsters.

Mini-Vacation with Nonna and Papa

At the end of last week, we got a nice surprise- we were invited to spend a few days with Nonna and Papa without mommy and daddy. I was so excited. When I woke up on Thursday morning, I asked mommy if it was time to go to Cape Cod. After school, we met Nonna and Papa halfway and they took us back to Cape Cod. I asked Nonna how long I was staying and she told me two or three nights. I was adamant that it be three nights. We did lots of fun things- we made cookies, went to the children's museum, made our own pizzas and went to a farm. When mommy and daddy arrived, we stayed one more night. Before we went home on Sunday, we went on a hike.

Mommy and I encountered a little challenge along the way. A little tiny stream. I had to "jump" over it!

Anyone Want to Race?

The other day, mommy took us to the mini-maze and I just kept on running through the maze as fast as I could. I went through at least 6 or 7 times. You can notice my sister sitting in the background. I'm a boy, I have so much energy!

Here I am, just continuing on my run.

And again.

I managed to take a quick rest in the pumpkin patch with Adelaide.

I don't know what has come over me lately, but I have been really into holding Adelaide's hand.

Also, I started Yoga Play this past week. I really liked it. I had fun doing all of the different poses. I'm looking forward to going back again next week!

Sunday Fun-Day

This past weekend, I went on an adventure with Grammi and Dzia Dzia up to Maine. I had a great time! I helped Dzia Dzia in the yard, went to the ff, ate cotton candy, hotdogs, drank slurpees, saw some animals and had fun!

When I came back on Sunday, mommy, daddy and Adelaide were very happy to see me. They told me how much they missed me! Mommy made a special dinner of garlic-citrus chicken, green and yellow beans with cranberries, almonds and goat cheese, potatoes and stuffing. We had an early dinner and then we went on a family outing.

So, I was all excited about this outing until we were driving there when daddy started telling me I might see witches, ghosts and vampires. I got really nervous. I mean, come on, I'm only three years old. Adelaide was more like, "Oh, okay" but I got scared. When we got there, I asked the woman taking our tickets if the maze would have any of these things and she told me it was not haunted. I was still a little afraid so I spent almost the entire time holding mommy's hand.

See what I mean! No sooner did we get there than we got Booed!!!! by daddy!

Then we were able to continue on with our maze.

I loved running to the next clue. Good thing mommy and daddy had me with them because we got the pre-school clue card and they really needed me to answer the questions.

Love the clues!

Here's daddy reading me another clue.

Finally, we made it to number 10 and we were on our way to the exit.

What a fun time we had!

I then discovered some pumpkins in a patch and started organizing them on the cart. Eventually they weighed more than me so I couldn't push them anymore.
