Week of Relaxation

After our busy weekend, we had a very low key week. On Tuesday, I went to school. As I told mommy, I had cream cheese and mini bagels for a snack, learned the muffin man song and went out to the playground but had to come in because it was rainy.

On Wednesday, I had my swimming lesson with my instructor. I've become very comfortable with him. He and I just talk away as we go up and down the lane.

I am getting better at swimming with just the bubble without holding on to anything. I think my teacher really wants me to kick my legs but I haven't quite gotten that down yet.

We had a surprise from Aunt Shannon and Uncle Matt waiting for us at Grammi and Dzia Dzia's house. Bone pajamas are the best! They glow in the dark and we had lots of fun dancing around in the dark wearing our pajamas.

On Friday, before I headed off on an adventure with Grammi and Dzia Dzia for the weekend, mommy had a little project for us. Aunt Carolyn gave her a picture from a magazine of fun apple ideas and so we decided to try them out ourselves. The idea was to use candy and make faces on the apple. I was pretty excited.

Here I am thinking, what candy can I eat next?

Here are a couple of samples of the end results. They were a little trickier (and stickier) than we thought because we used caramel to get everything to stick. But, we had fun playing with all the goodies and attempting to be creative.

While I was waiting for Grammi to pick me up, I asked mommy to read me the Toy Story books. I insisted on holding the pumpkin that I made last year with Nonna while we read together.
