Easter Weekend- Part 3

Sunday morning, we woke up and discovered the Easter bunny had paid us a visit. We had a fun egg hunt and got some small treats in our Easter baskets.

After church, we headed over to Grammi and Dzia Dzia's house for Easter dinner.

They did an unbelievable job planning all the details. When I walked inside, I told Grammi that it looks "beautiful!"

Before the other guests arrived, I played out back with the lawnmower. Just wanted to give Dzia Dzia's yard a quick clean up before everyone else got there!

I was happy to see my cousin Lorelai.

Then we decided to get a picture with Dzia Dzia and all of the cousins. Not too bad for 5 children under 4.

Hunting for eggs was lots of fun.

Here is a picture of my daddy with one of my Godfathers!

Nonna and Papa came all the way from Cape Cod to have Easter dinner with us!

We also celebrated Mimi and Papa's 60th wedding anniversary!

Easter Weekend- Part 2

On Friday night, mommy told me that there would be a surprise on Saturday. I asked her to give me a clue. She told me that the clue started with a "b." I then said, "Okay, it starts with a b...it's a bbbbbbb. Tell me mommy!" She wouldn't tell me and I went to bed eagerly wondering what surprise awaited me.

We woke up to a rainy day but drove over to Grammi and Dzia Dzia's. When we arrived, the garage door opened and I was so excited. Adelaide and I were thrilled!

Dzia Dzia helped me ride around. We do have helmets, I was just giving it a test run!

Then, I decided I needed to try on the helmet too. Last summer, I wasn't really able to pedal but this year I can do it!

Side Note: The next day I had my first crash. Mommy was pushing me and we went over a crack and I tumbled. Luckily, I was wearing my helmet. I got back on my bike and had a successful ride after the crash. I still love my bike ("Thank goodness"-mommy) :)

Eggciting Easter Weekend- Part 1

One of the highlights of getting ready for Easter is decorating the eggs. I was doing a countdown all week and finally Friday arrived! First, we cooked the eggs.

Then, we got everything ready. When Gabriella arrived, it was time for the decorating to begin.

I was very focused on my job, especially making a blue egg for Dzia Dzia. He put in a special request.

My hands slowly started to turn pink!

And then, I interpreted combining blue and green to mean putting the colors in the same cup.
When all was said and done, I got the job done with about two dozen eggs decorated. I had a blast and my hands were pink for about a day.

Gearing up for Easter and Other Adventures!

Wow! Mommy did not realize that she had not really posted for a couple of weeks on my blog. So, here is a recap of my adventures the past few weeks. Most of them are Easter related, but not all of them. First up, a package from Nonna and Papa arrived last week with some fun treats, including a no-spill egg dying kit. Mommy says thank you! This will make our job that we have for Easter dinner much easier! I was excited because I have been counting down the days until we get to dye the eggs.
Silly bandz make me smile!

Included in the kit were some ceramic eggs that we painted the same day we got the package.

Last week, we went back to one of our favorite parks. This year, I was tall enough to go on this rope slide. I went all by myself.

Also, guess what I love? Baseball! The other day I asked mommy to play baseball with me. All we had was an old cell phone and a soft ball and we decided to make the best of it!

This past weekend, we went to a fondue party and the kids at the party decided to make a band. I was the drummer!

Here is Peep the chick that I made. This puppet has been popping up everywhere. That is, until Adelaide decided to destroy Peep yesterday.

Here is a picture of me watching Adelaide pretend to deliver eggs to all of her imaginary friends.

Mommy gave me the job of filling the eggs with treats for the Easter egg hunt on Sunday.

Yesterday was our cupcake day. We decided to make Easter bunnies that mommy saw in Family Fun. Here is my version of the Easter bunny!

Here is mommy's finished product!

I Like to Bounce and Bounce...

My name is Oliver Richard and I like to bounce and bounce and bounce...

We went to a party this weekend at a bounce place and it was so much fun. I had a blast bouncing all over and going through the obstacle courses.

Saturday night, mommy and daddy went to an event for my school so Adelaide and I slept over at Grammi and Dzia Dzia's house.

On Sunday after church, we were in for a fun surprise! We went to an Easter egg hunt. If you can't tell from the following pictures, I was pretty excited!

After the egg hunt, we went to Grammi and Dzia Dzia's house where we celebrated my Uncle Mike and Uncle Matt's birthdays!

Yesterday, the weather was awesome so we headed to the park with Charley to throw the ball around and go on the playground.

So happy the warmer weather is here!
