The Good, the Bad, the Ugly!

The past ten days have been quite interesting. Adelaide and I came down with a cold and a stomach bug around the same time so we spent most of our days last week at home. I missed preschool for the first time last Tuesday and again on Thursday. The scene was not pretty at our house. I had to wear diapers and we went through lots of wipes, tissues, popsicles and tylenol.

One advantage to both of us being under the weather is that we spent some time bonding over popsicles.

One of the days we felt well enough to do a craft with mommy. Adelaide was having some trouble with her duck so I helped her.

This is a great shot of what I did best this past week...lounge around trying to get comfortable wherever I could.

By the end of the week, we felt well enough to go outside and get some fresh air.

And then we were back to lounging...this time on the stairs, with Charley.

By this week, Adelaide and I were back in action. Just when we were feeling better, the weather turned dreary so we hit the gym for a little exercise.

At Christmas, Nonna got us a paper plate craft book so yesterday we attempted to make frogs.

Today, we went to Chuck E. Cheese's for a couple of hours. We are so happy to be feeling better! I literally ran into preschool yesterday. I was so excited to see my teachers and friends. Don't tell mommy, but she was kind of driving me nuts! I was ready for my preschool time again!
