After we got in the car this morning, mommy told us she had a surprise. We could not guess what it was and then we got to Boston and I asked her if we were going to the Museum of Science. She told me that I was right!
We got tickets for the butterfly exhibit. When we went into the greenhouse area, there were butterflies flying everywhere. Adelaide and I walked around looking at the butterflies and trying to get them to land on us.
Here I am pointing to my favorite butterfly. Smartly, he is resting on a sign that says not to touch the butterflies or the plants. He was a very smart butterfly!
I even tried putting my arm out, hoping the butterfly would land.
All of the sudden, mommy looked down and a butterfly landed on her shirt. We got really excited and watched the butterfly for a few minutes!
Unfortunately, I was never personally visited by a butterfly but I had a GREAT time looking at the butterflies and plants and seeing one land on mommy.
Another exhibit that Adelaide and I loved had to do with gravity. Anything that involves pushing buttons, opening and shutting doors and watching things move is right up my alley.
I also played dress up and pretended to be a bee keeper.
I can't wait to go back!
