Christmas!

We had a great Christmas Part Two with Nonna and Papa. When we arrived at their house, Nonna was ready to make some gingerbread men with us. I was more focused on eating the men as quickly as I decorated them.

After decorating the gingerbread, we put the ornaments on Nonna and Papa's Santa tree. We had fun going through all the different ornaments. Nonna told us we could each take one home with us. I knew exactly which one I was going to pick!

We had a delicious dinner of meatballs and ravioli (6 please). I had a lot of silly time sitting around the table with my family. I also discovered Nonna and Papa's Christmas tree on their porch that changes color. I thought it was amazing. I couldn't stop looking at it.

Lots of happy hugs for Mommy.

And Nonna too!

Good thing I had a hearty meal the night before because Christmas Eve was snowman making day. I was promised a snowman and was not disappointed. When we first went outside, the snow was not quite strong enough so we had to improvise with a picnic table.

Here is our picnic table snowman...

With his skis!

After lunch, daddy noticed that it was better snowman-making snow so we all (except for Adelaide who was napping) headed outside. Daddy and I (well, really daddy) worked hard to make a big snowman.

I got a little distracted because I discovered that I LOVE snowball fights. I love to make snowballs, throw snowballs and even be hit by snowballs.

Trying so hard to get Papa!

When the snowman was compete we were very excited.

Before church, I was in for one more surprise. I was called over to the computer because I had received a message from Santa. He knew that I was three, got potty trained this past year and wanted a new game. He even knew my name was Oliver. I was so so so excited I could hardly stand it!

Mommy and I spent a bunch of time playing the penny games in this book Nonna recently picked up.

Before we went to bed, we put out a note, cookies, water and reindeer feed.

I had a very hard time falling asleep.

After we were in bed, the adults had a Christmas Eve dinner together.

When I woke up Christmas morning, the first thing I noticed was my shovel. It came!!! It really came in handy for the snowstorm that hit us two days after Christmas!

We had a brunch.

Followed by Adelaide playing beauty shop with me. I swear, sometimes I wonder what I get myself into. And I'm supposed to be the older brother.

Nonna and Papa surprised me with a crane for my Thomas set.

One of the last things I did before leaving was pick my ornament from the Santa tree.

When we got home, we were in for another surprise. Santa visited our house too! We had a new easel waiting for us.

After a little playing at home, we went to Aunt Barbara and Uncle Shawn's house for Christmas dinner.

It was a great day.
