Our Little Nook

Now that Adelaide and I are sleeping in the same room, mommy and daddy decided it was time to make some changes. They broke down the crib and moved the desk upstairs. The result is that Adelaide and I now have a little nook where we keep our books, toys and a little chair has even been created using a super soft blanket and our pillow pets. Today, while Adelaide napped, mommy found me tucked into my little chair playing my game.
I've also been finishing up my special Valentines for my classmates. I really wanted to give them each a spin art picture so we decided to make those for my schoolmates. It was fun because I got to make them myself with just a little bit of help from mommy.
I decided to create a garage with a driveway to put my truck in.

The Many Faces of Oliver

Lately, I've been very silly in front of the camera. When mommy says, "Say cheese," she never knows exactly what she is going to get! Perhaps a smile, frown or silly face.
Here I am giving mommy my "angry" face. It was a pretty good attempt if I do say so. Although, I must admit it's hard to be angry when eating a cupcake.

Our delicious cupcakes. Although, I have definitely decided that I am not as into sweets as Adelaide is. She devours her cupcakes. I usually eat about half and then secretly give the rest to Charley.

Airplane Rides, New Roommate and Wednesday Fun

The other night, daddy got home early enough to give us airplane rides. I love when daddy zooms us around the room. Mommy and daddy have both been busy lately so when we all spend time together, I love it.
I have a new roommate. On Sunday, mommy and daddy approached me with a proposition. They proposed that Adelaide becomes my official roommate and sleep in my old bed. I started jumping up and down I was so excited. That first night, Adelaide and I stayed up past our bedtime talking to each other.

Yesterday, after school, we decided to play restaurant. Mommy was the waitress and she brought us all of our pretend food. Then, she said she had a special dessert for us. It was M&Ms on a cracker. It was delicious (at least from a three year olds perspective).
Today, we made a few changes to our day because of the work that was being done in our house. The best thing about having a membership to the Museum of Science is that we can go at a moments notice. We headed there and began to play.
Every time I go there, I think the huge toothbruth is funny.

This time, we discovered these magnetic beads that we could use to make different designs.
I have never really been interested in this part of the museum before, but I thought that watching the ball float in the air was awesome. I must have spent about thirty minutes just playing with the beach ball.
And then I discovered that the air caused my hair to stand up which was even funnier!

When we got home, we changed our cupcake making plans to popping the Valentine's Day already made cookies in the oven and making cookie sandwiches with frosting and sprinkles.

Yum!

Highlights of My Week!

I have had quite the week! First, I met my beautiful cousin Caliryan who was born two days ago. We went to the hospital to meet her.
Before we got to the hospital, Adelaide and I decided that Lorelai needed a special treat for becoming a big sister. We picked out hearts filled with chocolates. Of course, we got three of them so that we could all enjoy a treat while mommy held my new cousin!
Here is mommy holding the sweet baby girl.
Uncle Mike, Aunt Carolyn and Gabriella came to meet Caliryan as well. Here is a picture of all the cousins!
We also had one more surprise for Lorelai.
Big sister pajamas!!! She is going to be a great big sister.
Lorelai and I did a little dancing in the hospital room. We kept on dancing in circles. It could have been the excitement over the arrival of Caliryan or it could have been the chocolates!

Then, we discovered the balloon that was next to Auntie Shannon's bed.

We were fortunate enough to be there right when Caliryan celebrated her one day birthday. We figured we had to get a picture to celebrate the big event!
Then Uncle Mike entertained us with the balloon. Apparently, we all have really great hair for making static hair.
We had a really fun time meeting Caliryan. The first thing I said to mommy when I got in the car was that I really wanted another little sister. I asked mommy why I didn't have another new sister like Lorelai. I think the only reason why I said that was that I wanted a balloon too!

I saw my friend Nick this week and we played at his house. Mommy's friend Dawn also came over for dinner one night and I was really excited to see her. What can I say, I have a hard time containing my excitement.

Being Sneaky

Sorry I have not posted for about a week. I have been busy working on some secret projects with mommy while Adelaide naps but here are a few pictures.

I thought my hair went with my shirt. I look like I should be part of a rock concert, don't I?

Last weekend, I had a really fun few days. I don't have any pictures but I can fill you in. I spent Friday night at Grammi and Dzia Dzia's house because mommy had school and daddy had school and work. We had so much fun. I got to put my cot in their bedroom and sleep there all night.

On Saturday, I went to Gabriella's birthday party. I loved the bee cake pops that Aunt Carolyn made. They were so yummy.

On Sunday, I went sledding with Dzia Dzia!!! I asked Dzia Dzia to let me go down by myself and then I tipped over and when I got to the bottom of the hill I said to him, "Dzia Dzia, you made a big mistake." But, I didn't let my fall stop me. I must have gone down the hill at least twenty times.

We got silly straws for our drinks. Mommy said that sometimes it is fun to be really silly so if the silly straws come out, we get to do silly things like blow bubbles. Only once in a while though. We've been working hard at our table manners so she felt like there needed to be some fun in there sometimes!

Yes, this is my excited face. You would think that mommy told me we were going somewhere really exciting. Nope, she just told me that she and Adelaide bought a cantaloupe at the store while I was at school and I could have some in the afternoon. I love fruit, what can I say!

We have a sock monster in our house. I don't know where my socks go. I can either blame it on mommy or the sock monster. I'll choose the sock monster!

Apparently, we also have a tickle monster down the hall. Auntie Carolyn read us the tickle monster book today and it was really funny! Adelaide and I loved it!

Catching Up

The past week has been filled with adventures. I went to Nonna and Papa's house for three days while mommy had school and daddy had work and school. I had lots of fun there. We got new pillow pets, ate shrimp and made our own pea pizzas! I told Nonna that she needed to take her Chrismas tree down because Christmas was over.

This past Monday morning was one of my favorite mornings of the week. It was science Monday. We got out our pipettes and beakers and got to work. Mommy has been very clear about the rules of science and I make sure they are followed. I am very serious about rules. Because I had done a great job listening, we were in for a special treat. We made a volcano and watched it explode. The size of the volcano was really quite small but we got the idea.

Very excited to see it explode!

After science, we played dress up.

And then, we made crystals. This is actually me checking on my crystals before I went to bed.

I had fun at Lorelai's house. I actually held her ferret and we had lots of silly time and laughter.
