Oliver, the Science Kid?

Santa brought me a science kit for Christmas and it has been SO much fun. I really like doing experiments. We have decided that Monday has become experiment Monday. After breakfast, we get dressed and then one of us puts on her smock and we do one or two experiments before going out. I really like the ones that cause exploding bubbles and color changes.

Adelaide has a hard time staying patient and NOT putting things in her mouth.

This past Monday I learned how to use a pipette. I took water from one container and moved it to another using the plastic pipette. And then we did my favorite experiment again (this time in a beaker): exploding bubbles!

Sandra came to visit. I was a little silly around Sandra, I'll admit. She made me laugh. I was very excited to show her the present I picked out for her. I got her a necklace...good practice for the future, ladies! Make sure you remember that. Already giving the gals jewelry.

She got us some bath toys and a Skippyjon Jones book which we love. We read it almost every night now.

We made a trip to Zoo Lights this year. It was not our favorite adventure. It was really cold. But, the second we got to Zoo Lights, I turned to mommy as we were walking in and said, "Do you remember that Nonna came with us last year?"

Adelaide and I are working on getting our picture taken together. We have yet to get a really great shot but maybe for mommy we'll come through one day!
