Last Tuesday, May 27, my GG went to heaven. She passed away while having a heart procedure done. She was 88 years old. I loved spending time with her this past year. Mommy and daddy try to take lots of pictures so I will always have pictures of the two of us together to remember her. Every time she held me, I would feel so comfortable in her arms. I saw her at the Cape last August when I was just a few weeks old. She also came to my baptism. I spent time with her again at Christmas, Uncle Dan and Aunt Erin's wedding in January and again in March. I am so happy to have been able to see her so much this past year.

Here is GG's obituary:

Seeing this for the first time. Wow, to think “ Gigi” has been gone for almost 15 years. She would be so proud of you Oliver! I’m sure she’s looking down and is amazed at the young man you have become. As your Nonna and her daughter I know that she’s as proud of as Papa and I are.
