The big day finally arrived! Adelaide and I were old enough to go on an overnight by ourselves to Nonna and Papa's house on Cape Cod. When mommy asked me if I wanted to do that, without a moment's hesitation, I answered YES!!! We arranged to meet Nonna halfway so she could bring us back to her house. All morning I kept on asking mommy if it was time to go and finally it was. Adelaide WAS just as excited as me but I kept on bumping into her with my suitcase so I think she was getting a little upset.

Mommy packed a note for each of us in our suitcases. We read them with Nonna. I don't have many pictures of our time with Nonna and Papa before mommy arrived, but I can certainly tell you what we did. We played with Nonna and Papa, Nonna made us meatballs and we all had a nice dinner together and then she did a great job putting us to bed. Because the weather was so rainy, we didn't spend too much time outside but we did sit for a few minutes on the front porch and pretend that we were the ones causing the trees to blow (not the wind)!

Before mommy arrived, we had a yummy breakfast and played. When mommy arrived, Nonna, mommy, Adelaide and I went to the children's museum. It was so crowded. There is a train that I like to play on. Two girls came over and asked if they could be my passengers. They even had little tickets to give me so I said "All Aboard" and took them to their destination!
On Tuesday night we went to a pizza place where we can make our own pizzas. Imagine how excited Adelaide and I were to make our own pizzas!!! Nonna helped me a little bit.
I finished up the pizza by adding pepperoni.
I'm not sure if I was really allowed to or not, but after I finished making my pizza I took it upon myself to bring it into the kitchen. We had the most DELICIOUS meal! Papa also taught me a new game. It involves numbers. I've been playing it with mommy since he taught me it.
When we got home from dinner, Adelaide was really tired so mommy put her to bed and then the excitement really began! At least, exciting for a three year old! I had a little box of cereal and Brock, Erin and Jeff's dog (Nonna is dogsitting for the week), was determined to get either my cereal or the box. Nonna and I tried to play really strong defense. But, if you'll notice, we left the cereal box unguarded!
Brock had lots of fun playing with the box!
Nonna gave Brock some hugs and kisses and he seemed to forget about me.
Before we left, I picked a pepper and mommy took a picture of me in front of my pumpkin. It's changing colors and getting so big. I can't wait to see it this fall!
When we got home, I was determined to wear Adelaide's new pants that match her top. Mommy picked them up for Adelaide because it was so cold.
Here is Adelaide wearing the top and me wearing the pants. Mommy just went with it. I must admit, the pants were pretty comfortable! Overall, I had a really fun few days with Nonna and Papa. The best part was that I heard Nonna telling mommy that we are invited to stay with her by ourselves anytime. Hip Hip Hooray!
