The rest of the group decided to walk down to the water a little while after we left to see if they could find us. They walked all the way out to the water and discovered that they saw a kayak. They also saw a bright orange life jacket and a green hat so they knew it had to be one of the two boats.
Daddy and I decided to make an appearance to say hello along the dock. I got a little confused at this point and thought that I was getting out to join everyone else but I had to stay in the kayak. I was a little bit upset because it looked like they were having so much fun on their walk and I wanted to join in. Daddy reassured me and we went on our way in the water. I listened very carefully to all of daddy's instructions while we were on the water. He told me that this was a very big boy activity to do and I could not make any sudden movements or get up. I listened very carefully to everything he said.
When we got back from kayaking, we put on our matching tshirts that said: Cape Cod Reunion...No Shoes Required. We then took family photos before Uncle Tom had to fly back home.
After the photo session, Grace, Ryan, Adelaide and I had fun playing in the front yard. We were being very silly!
I EVEN gave Ryan a kiss? What? Wow, I really must have been very caught up in the moment!
Since Adelaide and I love Ring Around A Rosy we did it as a group.
And then we ended up piled up on top of each other!
In the afternoon, mommy had a surprise for us. She brought washable sidewalk chalk with her so Grace, Sarah, Adelaide and I played outside with the chalk.
And then we moved to the front yard where we thought putting rocks in buckets was the most fun thing ever!
Before dinner, we went to the beach where my new binoculars from mommy's friends Erin and Matt came in VERY handy! I was on the lookout for seaweed and starfish.
I caught some seaweed!
Max and I decided we would make the biggest mud castle ever! So, we tried on our own.
I tried bringing more water back.
And then we finally enlisted the help of Uncle Andrew and Nonna. Uncle Andrew knew the secret tip...we each had to tap on it to make it stick!
Before we left, I cleaned Adelaide's hands for her because they were covered with sand.
Mommy got matching pjs for Grace, Ryan and Adelaide. They were having their pictures taken and I decided to suprise them. I opened the screen, jumped out and said "I'm baaaaccckkk!"
After a full nights sleep, mommy, daddy, Adelaide and I decided to go for a bike ride on the bike path.
We stopped halfway along the ride because the scenery was so nice. But, it was very windy. We had a hard time looking at the camera at the same time!
That night we celebrated Uncle Bill's birthday! We thought THIS was the party! Come to find out, after we went to bed there was a huge clambake in his honor! At least we got to try the lobster and have some brownies!
