Happy Birthday Grammi and Dzia Dzia!

Today was Grammi's birthday. I was VERY excited. In fact, the first thing I asked mommy this morning was: "Is TODAY Grammi's birthday?" When she told me it was, of course the next question I asked was: "Why?" Yes, I ask why for everything. I think I'm approaching the 1,000 mark. The 1,000th time I've asked why. Once mommy confirmed it was Grammi's birthday, I had to call to sing her Happy Birthday right away! What a fun way to start the day. We picked up a little cake for her and when she got home from work we celebrated!

I took it upon myself to help Grammi blow out her candle. Of course she needed my help. Who wouldn't? I tried very hard but, in the end, it was Grammi who made her wish and blew out the candle!

I was also very excited to show Grammi the card I picked out for her. Yes, mommy gave Adelaide and me very important jobs. She told us we could pick out any card as long as it was in the birthday section. For Grammi, I picked out a singing card that sang The Chicken Dance song. I was able to sign my name (or at least OLI). That's as far as I've gotten in learning my name. We listened to the chicken dance song over and over. I think she really liked it. I also got Dzia Dzia a funny card. I saw a small card with a sumo wrestler on it and decided that was the one for him!

Here are some pictures of us celebrating Dzia Dzia's birthday the other night. We had lots of fun and I was really happy when I found out we were going to have another birthday party a few days later.
