Richmond Vacation, Part 1

Wow, we had quite an adventure this past weekend! Mommy and daddy told me a few weeks ago that we were going on an airplane. Every day I started asking mommy and daddy if it was time. Finally, on Friday morning we got up and drove to the airport. When we got there, I was SO excited I could hardly contain myself. I kept on looking out the window to see if I could find our airplane.

I think I see it!

Once we were on the airplane, mommy and daddy told me I could open my backpack. I looked inside and there were a few surprises to keep me busy during the ride. I had a new coloring book, some crayons, a new Mickey book and a transformer!

Takeoff was really fun. I looked out the window and said really loudly "We're flying!" The other passengers started laughing. I guess because I was so excited? I'm not sure but either way I was very excited to be in the air. I also liked opening and closing my window.

One of the other highlights of the flight: the drink cart! I picked out apple juice and drank it very carefully. Here's a picture of how excited I am to see the drink cart.

Looking out the window while doing some coloring.

We landed and our Richmond vacation was officially about to begin!

Here I am waiting for our luggage with Nonna and Papa. Nonna and Papa were also on our flight. It was really fun to look behind my seat and see Nonna there!
