Today is the Day...

...that I have been waiting for. Today is the day I go to school! All summer long I have been asking if it was the day I went to preschool. Well, that day finally arrived and I was all ready to go.

Mommy and I picked out my clothes the night before and I got a good nights sleep. Nikki came to watch Adelaide and then mom and I headed off to Harborlight!

I went back and forth between being really happy, bouncy and excited...

And just a little wee bit nervous!

Once we arrived at my school, I saw all sorts of kids that looked about my age...you know, three, maybe four years old so I knew we were in the right place. I should also admit here that the reason I wasn't really too nervous is because mommy got to go with me on my first day.

Just before we got inside I asked mommy how we would know where my classroom was. My question was quickly answered when we saw the sign. Mommy read it to me and off we went in pursuit of the red footprints!

I carefully followed the path.

Getting closer!

Just outside the door to my classroom, we saw a table with name tags. I keep on telling mommy that my name is spelled "Olier" (I keep on forgetting the v) but I saw a name that looked close enough to "Olier" and I knew it was my teddy bear tag.

My first entrance into the classroom.

Once we got inside there were lots of really fun things to do! I headed straight for the little post office area.

Then I noticed the rice table!

Then the measuring area. After about an hour, we had a snack and then it was time for a story.

I listened carefully to the story. Then, next thing we knew it was time to head home

Overall, it was a really fun day. Mommy told me she was proud of me for being brave. I'm a little nervous going by myself on Thursday but my teachers seem really nice.

After lunch, we went to the park for a little while. I like to hang on the bars like a monkey.

I also love to climb.

Mommy told me it is going to be a busy week. The dentist and swim lessons are next before heading back to school on Thursday.
