Adelaide and I spent hours over the next few days playing outside on the swings, going down the slide and climbing up the rock wall. Every day we went outside at least two or three times to play on the new swingset. As if Cape Cod wasn't exciting enough!!!
After we got settled in, Nonna, Mommy, Adelaide and I headed to the beach. Adelaide spent the entire time being a bathing beauty because she apparently does not like sand or the water. She sat in her one spot and played with anything she could find nearby.
I, on the other hand, scoped out the situation and after playing with some beach toys I noticed some older boys digging a really big hole. They looked like they needed another helper so mommy walked me over and we asked if I could play with them. They were so nice and said I could and helped me dig in the sand. They were like 5 or 6 years...I felt pretty cool!
On Wednesday night, we went to a Jamaican buffet. The food was good but the music was great. I kept on trying to get my groove on but I had no friends to dance with. The Jamaican buffet was at Coonamessett Farm.
The adventures on the Cape continued with a trip to the Barnstable library where we saw an animal display.
For the past few years I've been hesitant to go on a bike ride with anyone but mommy but this visit I decided I wanted to go for a ride with Papa. After we got my helmet on, I got in the seat and Papa took me for a really fun ride around the neighborhood.
Here are a few more random pictures from the really fun visit to Cape Cod. The last one is a picture with Nonna and Papa's friend Kim who was there the last day we were there. She was really nice and we had fun playing with her!
