We also rode in a balloon. We were so high up in the air. I loved it! It was fun to see Storyland from the air.
We also played with the wacky balls. There was a vacuum contraption that we put the balls into and it made a sucking noise and the balls flew into the sky. Adelaide and I played with this one thing for almost 20 minutes before mommy and daddy recommended that we try something new.
One of my favorite parts was riding the train all over the park. We rode the red train all around and people kept getting on and off. I think this might have been the best part of my day.
I rode in the whale with mommy. The ride was surprisingly fast. I told her she didn't have to hold onto me but she did it anyway. Daddy really wanted to take me on the roller coaster and bamboo chute but I was still too little. Next year I should be big enough to go on those rides. I've been talking about them nonstop since we went to Storyland.
Ah, the balls. Thousands of balls just calling my name. I had fun playing in them until some other kids decided to try to jump on me.
After Storyland, we headed to Grammi and Dzia Dzia's house in Maine for the rest of the weekend. Uncle Mike, Aunt Carolyn, Gabriella and Gail were there as well. We had a yummy dinner on the porch both nights we were there. Grammi had a surprise dessert waiting for us at the end- ice cream sandwiches. So yummy!
Hands down one of my favorite things to do as an almost 3 year old is to build sand castles. I spent hours on Sunday and Monday building castles with mommy, daddy and Dzia Dzia.
Uncle Mike took Adelaide and me for a really fun ride in the swimming pool.
Here is a picture of everyone down by the water.
Daddy and me lounging on the dock.
Before we left, Mimi surprised us with gumdrops and jelly beans. So delicious!
